Gov Ball is New York's largest music festival. 
I'm the Director of Social & Content, managing a 60+ person team of photographers, videographers, and content creators.

2023 Recap

This was the first year in our new home (Flushing Meadows Corona Park) so we brought New Yorkers through a visual journey of escaping the concrete jungle to experience Gov Ball. For the soundtrack, we created a mashup of artists that performed throughout the weekend.

On social, this was our highest performing recap we’ve ever done.

Artist Collabs

The power of KPOP is real. In collaboration with Aespa, we launched a series of collectible cards sold exclusively during the festival.

They sold out within hours of doors opening.

For their performance, we created a hype edit and used Instagram collab feature to reach both of our fans. 1M+ likes, 2,500+ comments.

TikTok

Our YOY growth on TikTok is 178%.

During the festival, I hire a team of creators to capture fan moments and an additional team dedicated to artist coverage.

Throughout the weekend, we develop 70 pieces of content exclusively for TikTok.

In this video, we turned an unplanned artist/fan moment into our highest performing piece of content. 5M+ views. 2,900+ comments. 42K saves.

Dunkin x GovBall

In collaboration with Dunkin’, we gave all Gov Ball attendees free coffee & donuts all weekend long.

We then partnered with Lauv to promote the activation on-site by recreating the Ben Affleck meme.
